ARK Atwood Academy (Westminster)

Welcome to Ark Atwood. We are a two form entry primary school offering a great education for local children in north Westminster.

Our vision is for every child at Ark Atwood to fulfil his or her potential and be set up for success when they move on to secondary school. We offer a broad and engaging curriculum that provides opportunities, through learning in school and beyond, for children to increase their knowledge and understanding of the world around them. 

Nursery provision

The school offers nursery provision. Funded places available for eligible children.

This setting is registered to accept the Early Education and Childcare funded hours for:

• 15 hours 3 & 4 year olds (all children)

• 30 hours 3 & 4 year olds (working families)

Wraparound childcare / clubs information:

Breakfast club: Yes

P3 Play offers a breakfast club (7.45am - 8.30am)

After school club: Yes

After school play service (3.45pm to 5.45pm) during term time.

Holiday provision / inset days: Yes

Additional information: 

P3 is an after-school/holiday service providing on-site play and sports activities. Their activities are fun, exciting and challenging. They aim to support and enhance children’s development by providing a fun and safe play environment for children that will support each child to learn and develop socially, physically, intellectually, creatively and emotionally.

The service is flexible and reliable to support the needs of parents including one off bookings, emergency bookings and regular days.  

P3 will be open for all school holidays and inset days except the Christmas break.

Please note: P3 only opens for the first three to four weeks of the summer. Pre-booking (lower rate) is available around two weeks before each holiday/inset and payment must be made to secure a place. After which you can pay the full rate on a daily basis.

For term-time and holiday play all children need to be registered. Parents/carers will need to inform the school/class teacher when their child is attending P3.
